The C.C.F. is governed by the Board of Directors that meets quarterly and comprises of the following members:
Nico Nell
Chairman
Nico Nell is the Leader of The City Changers Movement S.A.
and is responsible for the Doxa Deo Strategic planning, Human
Resources management and development. Nico has a passion
for empowering church and organizational leaders with the
practical tools to initiate community transformation. Nico, and
his wife Sally, reside in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. They have
three sons, Danie married to Iris, Johan married to Tuanette
and George.
Alan Platt
Alan Platt, originally from South Africa and now residing in the
U.S.A., is an agent of transformation in individuals' lives, local
churches, and society's corporate structures. Under his
leadership, the Doxa Deo Church movement was established
globally. He also leads the City Changers Movement, a global
ministry currently serving leaders in over 21 nations. Alan is an
author of 2 books - 'Not Do but Done' translated into 14
languages, and 'City Changers' currently available in 5
languages. Alan is married to Leana, and they have two
children, Duncan married to Ivy and Amy, who is married to
Amie Smit.
Muller van Loggerenberg
Secretary
Muller van Loggerenberg has been with Doxa Deo and the City Changers Movement for more than 17 years and has taken up various management and leadership roles. With a background in finances, management, ministry and a passion for city transformation, many schools, campuses and other entities were established and expanded. Muller and Carol-Anne have been married for 25 years. She serves and leads various ministries in Doxa Deo locally and internationally. Their children Ashley and Michael completed their schooling at Maragon Olympus and Maragon Mooikloof.
Anton Venter
Currently, Anton is serving as the Chief Strategy Officer
for The City Changers Movement and Doxa Deo, a global
church that originated in South Africa. He facilitates the
global strategic development and alignment for City
Changers in Europe, the U.S.A., Africa and Australasia.
After living their whole lives in Pretoria (South Africa),
Anton and his wife Bernise and their three teenage
children, Annise, Berton and Dané, relocated to Florida
(U.S.A.) in 2016. This positioned Anton for the global role
that he has today. Anton recently took responsibility to
lead Lifework into its next season of global expansion.
Jean Symons
In 2010 Jean took leadership of Doxa Deo Pretoria (13
campuses serving 30,000 people) and now function as
the Doxa Deo family of churches (27 campuses) from
their home base in Brooklyn Pretoria where he still leads
the local Campus.
To facilitate the global dialogue of Kingdom City
Transformation, the City Changers Movement was birthed through Doxa Deo, impacting
nations on five continents. Jean leads the charge for C.C.M. in his city, Pretoria, and also for
South Africa and Africa.
He is married to Willianna, and they have two girls, Uvonique (24) and Anney (21). Jean also
loves sports and the outdoors and his Bull Terrier dogs!
